Information on the local working environment
The Dental Hygienist can work as employee; in this first case, the job is regulated by a national contract and can be full-time: 40 hours per week, with an average of 4 weeks of vacation, or part time.
This job condition is valid for contracts stipulated with private offices or public institutions.
In Italy the DH can work as a free lance and works with one or more private office. In this second case the job is defined by contracts stipulated between the DH and the owners of the different private offices.
