The Irish Dental Hygienists Association as hosts of the ISDH 2022 have been so impressed by our international colleague’s enthusiasm and commitment to join us in Dublin, Ireland this year. We extended the early bird rate until the end of February 2022 to enable as many of our friends to avail of this fantastic offer. We have hygienists from 30 countries registered to attend! Submit Your Poster Abstract
To coincide with St. Patricks day celebrations the Scientific Committee of the ISDH 2022, under the leadership of Dr Catherine Waldron, is delighted to provide you with a final chance to submit a poster abstract for the International Symposium on Dental Hygiene 2022. 2022 House of Delegates Business Meeting

Plans and details are now finalized for the 2022 House of Delegates Business Meeting (August 8-10, 2022), in the picturesque town of Malahide Ireland, just outside of Dublin. More than IFDH business and interesting discussions, will be meeting delegates from 35 countries, and some fun too - including a night out at the nearby Abbey Tavern for a 5-course Irish dinner and fun entertainment! Then we travel on to Dublin for the ISDH!

IFDH Special Presentations in Ireland

IFDH has prepared its own special presentations during the HoD Business Meeting and at ISDH, including:

• Introduction to Sustainability Seminar
• Wednesday, August 10, Malahide Ireland
• House of Delegates Business Meeting (HoDs only)

Our speakers will explain sustainability as a concept and the FDI Statement and the effect on Dental Hygienists. We will have discussions to develop a Policy Statement from IFDH on Sustainability in Oral Health.

Our speakers will discuss leadership styles and how Dental Hygienists can function better in their national organization, as well as their role as a Delegate to IFDH.

• Global Oral Health Summit (Part 2)

This seminar during ISDH will consist of an explanation of the WHO Global Strategies on Oral Health, that we will be dealing with worldwide - on a personal, as well as on an organization level. Read more

• Social Responsibility Workshop: Empowering Women

During 2019-2022, we have been highlighting the theme of "Empowering Women." The IFDH Social Responsibility Workshop at ISDH will present 3 local projects on empowering oral health among your communities.
